POWER STATUS MONITORING SYSTEM (summery)
There are two type of electrical sub stations one is attended and second unattended. From attended sub stations we can get the information but from unattended sub stations no information can be received.

Whenever there is any fault in the power system then the protection CTs installed in the panel gives signal to the protective relays and the protective relays disconnect faulty system by releasing its mechanical system. In our remote fault monitoring system we will install remote units at the sub stations as per the requirement of the consumers. Signal from the relay unit shall feed the remote sensing unit, which will convey/transmit the signal to the main controlling station. At the controlling station the signal transmitted by the remote sensing equipment shall be processed to give the various parameters like name of the sub station, Location of the sub station, panel no., and details of the panel to which the same was feeding. The printer can off load this information from the computer and the controlling engineer at the main station shall give the necessary instruction to the field staff about the occurrence of the fault. This whole system shall not take more then 1/10 second. In case of multiple tripping at different sub stations the main equipment installed at the control room is capable to receive 10 calls in a second from the time lag in between the different tripping. A clear-cut instruction can be give to the fault from which particular sub station that has started.

The signaling unit will provide its status of the monitoring station after every desire time interval say 2hour, 6hours, 20hrs etc. Our system is a modular and can be upgrade at any time to cover the extended area, this can link up to 64000 remote signaling unit installed in various different locations for verity of applications.
